  • For users who do not subscribe to a data roaming package
    • You will be notified of data roaming service fee once you subscribe

    • You will be notified of your data allowance balance and package validity period.
    • You will be notified of any excess data roaming charges, such as the use of other networks not covered under the package conditions.

Prepaid Customer
  • Fee will be refunded as credit balance
  • Refund will be made within 15 days from the package end date
Postpaid Customer
  • Fee will be refunded as a payment amount in the next billing cycle
  • Refund will be made within 45 days from the package end date

Q : In case of no package usage, when will the service fee be refunded ?
  • Postpaid customers: Refund within 45 days from the package end date
  • Prepaid customers: Refund within 15 days from the package end date
Q : Why do postpaid customers have to wait for 45 days from the package end date to
receive a refund ?
To check and confirm that there has been no roaming usage, it takes time to request the usage history from the network operator at the customer’s destination country.
Q : Does the Roam Fair service fee refund for unused package apply to all roaming packages? Are there any exceptions ?

Q : Can I receive the fee refund in cash ? And if so, how ?
Of course! Customers can receive the fee refund in cash at any AIS Shop nationwide (not including Telewiz Shops).
Q : Do I have to pay the roaming package fee at the time of purchase ?
Due to the package’s terms and conditions, customers have to pay the package fee at the time of purchase. You can receive the fee refund later if the service system doesn’t find any usage of the purchased package.
Roam Fair terms and conditions
  1. For AIS prepaid and postpaid customers registered as individual persons who have applied for a roaming package only
  2. Package refund conditions
    • A refund shall be made automatically once it is found you have not used the service. The customer is, nonetheless, required to pay for the package in the first place, and will later be refunded when no usage is found
    • For AIS postpaid customers, a package refund will be made within 45 days after the day the
      package terminates.
    • For AIS prepaid customers, a package refund will be made within 15 days after the day the
      package terminates.
    • In case the package has been used and a discount granted, no refund shall be provided.
  3. AIS reserves the right to change or cancel the service terms and conditions without prior notice.
